I would recommend getting Alakazam
Even though it's hard to get for some people you can get it easily because you have access to trading. Plus, you can use it to take your rivals' alakazam's psychic attacks because you have some psychic weaknesses on your team.
If you can get these moves for it, that would be great:
Psychic, Ice Punch, Fire Punch, Thunderpunch
But if you can't get those moves for it, try these instead:
Psychic, Disable, Reflect, Thunderbolt
