PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I'm really stuck and need to know what Pokemon would make good teammates for a standard special sweeper Zoroark & standard Mega Alakazam. Can anyone help? The format is Singles. Any help is appreciated, and thanks in advance!

Side Note: I'd prefer Pokemon that at least have some form of intimidation factor, so nothing like a cutesy Eeveelution, etc.

Zoroark (M) @ Life Orb
Ability: Illusion
Evs: 6 Def, 252 Sp.Atk, 252 Spd
Nature: Timid
- Night Daze
- Extrasensory
- Flamethrower
- Focus Blast

Alakazam (M) @ Alakazite
Ability: Magic Guard ---> Trace
Evs: 252 Sp.Atk, 6 Sp.Def, 252 Spd
Nature: Timid
- Psychic
- Shadow Ball
- Focus Blast
- Dazzling Gleam

Looks don't matter...

please elaborate on what a standard megazam entails. "Standard" can mean sub encore, subcm, sub recover, encore and 3 attacks, cm and three attacks, and all out attacker.
@Leaftail Trust me, I know. I just don't want cutesy stuff on this team for certain reasons.

@pwnermewtwo Ah, ok. I'll edit it right now to include the sets.
I would suggest something to handle opposing Bug attackers, however common those may be.

From my POV you can go two routes; Poison or Fairy. A Ghost type would also be a viable option, but with Alakazam being weak to Dark and Ghost at the same time, I feel it would repeat too many weaknesses.

image Weezing
Good defensive wall, very useful ability allows it to have only 1 weakness which both Zoroark and Alakazam can cover, and good movepool (Will-O-Wisp, Pain Split, T-Bolt, Fire Blast, Sludge Bomb).

image Tentacruel
Good special wall, useful abilities in either Clear Body (counters Sticky Web) or Liquid Ooze. Access to Rapid Spin and Toxic Spikes, and can also absorb Toxic Spikes on switch in. Electric and Ground weaknesses are, however, not covered by Zoroark or Alakazam.

Since you have a noticeable Bug weakness, I wouldn't recommend Drapion, as Bug is only neutral, on top of Fairy also being neutral.

image Florges
Very good special wall, along with good support movepool (Aromatherapy and Wish), as well as good STAB (Moonblast) and decent base sp. atk.

image Azumarill
Very good physical attacker with Huge Power, which would go well alongside 2 special attackers. BellyJet set or Band are both viable, but Grass and Electric weakness aren't covered by Zoroark or Alakazam.

image Clefable
Can be either physical or special wall, and has good support movepool (Wish and Heal Bell), with Magic Guard being a very good ability to absorb status conditions and immunity to entry hazards.
