How rare is it to get Pokerus from the wild on 2 different games?

I had it oon OR and didnt know what it was so I asked here and found out, just now it happened again on HG and I was like WHAT?

The chances of one of your Pokémon contracting Pokérus are about 0.00457%. In other words, really low. In fact it's roughly 37% lower than encountering a Shiny. Over about seven years of playing Pokémon I have only encountered it twice.
