Why am I seeing the elite four outside of the league?

Question

After beating the league in ORAS I found the Drake type trainer of the EF in the battle mansion. In the S.S Tidal I saw the dragon type EF trainer. I also saw the ghost type one as well. Why am I finding them? If anything this should be before the league but this was after. Also is there any prise for finding them all? (If so where is the Ice type EF member?) or is it an Easter Egg? I also am confused because I saw some gym leaders too? What going on?

This is simply an 'easter' egg and is in the game after you beat the Elite Four and the Delta Episode. This is also in other Pokémon games such as HG/SS.
