What level should my Pokemon be for the Elite Four and Champ(ORAS)?

Right now I'm aiming at at least everyone at 50 or above, is that about right, or do I need them higher?

You can beat them at Level 45-50 but Level 55 is recommended.

That's not what I was asking for, I was asking what level, approximately, my Pokemon should be, when facing the elite four.

You can the E4 at whatever level above Level 45. You can beat the E4 at those levels.
