Is there ANY way to change the color on the virtual console release of Pokemon red and blue?

There has to be a way! I can not play a MONOCHROME game in 2016! I dont want the green screen. All help is needed.

No, the only are "Game Boy Green" and Black and White. This is the same colour as the original Game Boy and then there is the monochrome colour.
