Any difference between the battle tree legends teams between the Super battles and Normals?

Question

Me and a friend where pretty disappointing versing red and blue with no mega evolution on either side. Twas still a legendary battle in our eyes but nonetheless, I know there is a chance of mega's appearing in the 20 win streak of normal battles, but is there a higher chance of the better sets including the megas being used in super 50's? or better yet some legendarys?

You only fight red in normal, every ten battles in super battles a "Battle Tree Legend" appears and quite a few of their Pokemon can mega evolve and/or are legendaries
