Since you don't earn gym badges in Sun/Moon, is there a way to tell what level limit there is for Pokémon to obey you?

Grand Trial: Fighting

Defeat [Hala] and you'll get the stamp for your Trainer Passport which allows traded Pokémon up to Level 35 to obey

Grand Trial: Rock

Defeat [Olivia] and you'll get the stamp for your Trainer Passport which allows traded Pokémon up to Level 50 to obey

Grand Trial: Dark

Defeat [Nanu] and you will receive the Darkium Z Crystal and the Trainer Passport stamp that allows for Pokémon up to Level 65 to obey.

Grand Trial: Ground

Pokémon will obey you regardless of level.
