Its ability messes up weather teams and makes its own attacks better, it gets good coverage in flamethrower, air slash, solar beam, and focus blast, it has good special attack and passable speed, and it can learn roost. On the contrary, it takes up your mega slot, has no good stat raising moves (unlike mega Charizard X and mega Pinsir), is slower than mega Metagross, doesn't have good defensive typing (unlike mega Metagross), and loses half of its HP whenever it switches into stealth rock.
