Can't get Magearna or Arceus plates in Sun and Moon?

Question

So I just hopped back onto Moon after seeing that Magearna was released (I'm a bit late, I know), but I ran into a problem. When I scanned the QR code, it just popped up saying that the code contained information on the Pokemon Magearna, and when I went to the Antiquities of the Ages shop the deliveryman wasn't there. I also noticed that I couldn't buy the Arceus plates from there. They didn't show up in the list. I have beaten the game already, and I have beaten the Battle Tree as well. I have even beaten the Elite Four two or three times. Why is it that the shop is basically broke in my game? Do you know of any way to fix this issue? Thanks!

Be sure you are doing it the right way as follows:
1)Complete the main story
2)Choose the QR Scanner function
3)Line up the QR code for Magearna while pressing the R Button
4)Visit the deliveryman at the Antiquities of the Ages shop in Hau’oli City to get Magearna
5)Be sure to save your game.

As for the plates: A shop (Antiquities of Ages) on the far right side will sell various Legendary artifacts and Plates. While the Legendary artifacts can be purchased as soon as the player can access the mall, the Plates cannot be purchased until after defeating Island Kahuna Nanu. Only one of each item may be purchased.
