Does shiny charm effect Poipole?

Question

I have been hunting for shiny Poipole for 2 weeks for now and it made me think. Does the shiny charm effect gifted Pokemon as well or am I just having bad luck?

Also this has been my longest hunt yet.

Pokemon that are received threw a gift isnt affected by shiny charm.

Reason Behind This =

Poeple That Give You The Pokemon Arent Affected By Shiny Because The Poeple That Are Giving It Too You Arent Shiny In The First Place. They just store the Pokemon with them then give you a shiny At Your Rate They Have a chance To GIve You A Shiny Poiple At 1/4096 So Its The Same Odds As Normal XY - USUM And Theres No Respective Reason Why Your Luck Is Bad.
