Is the damage from the move Wrap affected by the target's defense?

Sometimes, I use Wrap with my Ekans and I wonder: Maybe if I use a defense lowering move, would the damage after the initial Wrap increase?

Comments

The damage from the attack itself is governed by your attack and your opponent's defense. Damage suffered after the end of consecutive turns is normally a set fraction of total HP (unless it's a Shedinja).

The damage after the initial wrap isn't attack damage, so it's not affected by the target's physical defense stat.
