Before you flag saying, "but LeafyBlade, you can't battle acerola" I know that. I mean the anime. In episode 73 of the Pokemon ANIME [yes, I mean the anime. The anime thread is dead and someone asked an anime question before and it was fine] Acerola is introduced, and she has a Mimikyu that is a greyish white [its shiny] but also has a bit of its normal color as well.

The previous answer is incorrect. Mimikins (mimi-tan) is not a shiny Mimikyu. It is stated that Mimikins is actually the ghost of a deceased Mimikyu which is why the coloration is different and explains why Mimikins' attacks don't work on Pokemon in the anime.

"Mimikins and Kimia's Gardevoir are so far the only Shiny Fairy-type Pokémon seen in the anime."
That's what it says on your "proof"!
Yep it does
