Okay, but 'starter' has two meanings -
-Pokemon which are typically the starter of any Pokémon game
-The Pokémon you actually start with
So saying "Charmander can be shiny" is misleading if the one you have at the beginning of the game (assuming you picked it) can't. What I would like to see is clarification of this - was it possible for the Eevee (/other starter, whatever applies) I had at the very beginning of the game to be shiny? Or can a shiny Char/Squirtle/Bulb/Pika/Eevee only be obtained from cooking?
