Doesn't Black/White 2 count as a remake?
Black/White 2 count as a sequel to the original B/W
So you're saying Ultra Sun/Moon don't count either? I refuse to believe this...
Ikr, but I think it is lol. You know the UBs? Most of these themes backwards are music themes of Alola. And I think thats why Ultra-Necrozma plays a big role. It’s like furthening the original SM games. Wow gamefreak, putting aliens in a childs game. Do you know how much little kids are scared of that?!! I don’t believe why GSC is 12+  While childs mostly don’t know about the Beast Trio actually being dead, lol. And USUM is 3 while they already know UBs are aliens and it goes even deeper. **TRIGGERED** oof typing this on a phone with Dutch autocorrect is hard
Yeah, I've listened to one before (Guzzlord's theme backwards), It sounded like the music from that town (I forgot it's name...). Aliens are kind of scary for children.

There is no confirmation on when, or even if, Game Freak will ever remake Gens 4 or 5 (although there is a fair chance they will sometime). The next main-series Pokémon games are Let's Go, Pikachu and Let's Go, Eevee, which you can read about here. After that, it is confirmed that the next main-series game is coming in the second half of 2019, which is almost certainly Gen 8.
If you ask me, my guess is that Gen 4 remakes will probably crop up after the 2019 title, releasing in 2020 or 2021, although that's just speculation.

There are no confirmation.ed gen 4 or 5 remakes. Gen 8 will be coming out in 2019. Therefore we can assume that remakes will be coming in 2020/2021.

The reason that we haven't received remakes is yet is most likely because the latest main series playing consoles can play gen 4/5

Like how they didn't make gen 3 remakes until you were unable to play them on the newest console.

And since you can't play ds games on switch, you can logicaly assume they will remakes them after the newest main series game.
