I know it is in Mt.moon and Saffron City, but where they located in the game. I have trouble finding the moon stone. The game I am referring to is Pokemon let's go pickachu.
In Pokémon Let's Go, there are many different Evolutionary Stones that allow specific Pokémon to evolve. One of these Evolutionary Stones is the Moonstone. There is only one place to find these special stones from space.
The only place to find Moonstones is at Mt. Moon. The aptly named location is filled with Pokémon from space like Clefairy so it makes sense for the spot to be the only location for Moonstones.
You can access Mt. Moon anytime after you receive the first Gym Badge from Brock. Once you have done that, travel east out of the city to Route 3.
From there, continue on through to Route 4. The entrance to Mt. Moon is right next to a Pokémon Center where you can heal up before entering.
The Moonstones can only be found in craters on the floor of Mt. Moon. The location changes randomly each day. However, there are other items you can find. There are only two Moonstones available each day in your game.
To find them, walk by each crater on the multiple floors and look for your partner PIkachu or Eevee's tail to swing back and forth like crazy. Press the A button in front of a crater when this happens to find an item like one of the two possible Moonstones.
