Why do Pokemon spawn inside my trainer's model in LGP/E?

in LGPE, Pokemon repeatedly spawn inside my own body. this has only happened recently, at the end of the game, and it's a bit annoying, since its so close to the previous games' terrible encounter system. is this just random coincidence, or am I doing something? not complaining too much though, as I got a shiny golduck through spawning inside me.

I'm pretty sure the game spawns Pokemon in random places near the player, and it doesn't check whether they're spawning inside the player. Programmers get lazy sometimes.
