Bulbapedia says the event is active indefinitely, though I don't know how they know it'll be active indefinitely.

You get Magearna by scanning a QR code after beating the E4. This code is available on the official Pokémon website. As long as an image of this code exists online, there will be no deadline for when you can redeem the event.
