Does shiny Pikachu look shiny in the Overworld after using a Party-hat Pikachu photobomb in Pokemon GO?

I was playing Pokémon and then I asked if photobomb Pokémon can be shiny. He then showed me a google image of a shiny party hat Pikachu in the Overworld. I don't know if this is fake or not. Can somebody tell me?

I know Ash Cap can. If he showed you a picture then you probably can.

It's mostly just because Pikachu shiny really doesn't look that diffrent and I could just be gamefreak making a joke about it
