PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

Hi everyone! I’m new so I apologize if I’ve made any mistakes.
I’m a lifetime Pokemon fan who is bad at battling. I’m not really interested in getting into the competitive scene, however I do wanna get better at making the Pokemon I have stronger. I want to start with my favorite Pokemon- Politoed!
Right now I have a Politoed with 135/186 IVs in this order:
HP: 28
Attack: 29
Defense: 20
Sp Atk: 27
Sp Def: 14
Speed: 17

So, Attack is her highest IV but her nature is “Quiet”- which gives a boost to Sp Atk. Since those IV’s are pretty close, should I build her moveset around Physical or Special moves?

Thanks if you read all this and sorry again if I made a dumb mistake!

Do you know about how base stats are used to calculate stats or know what format you're playing? Here's an article about stats, but I can't find one about formats. https://bulbapedia.bulbagarden.net/wiki/Statistic

U shouldnt rly focus on dmg, this is my moveset:
Politoed @ Damp Rock
Ability: Drizzle
EVs: 132 HP / 216 Def / 160 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Scald
- Toxic
- Haze
- Protect
U cna export it if you want(I say this cuz ppl usually make it manually instead of copy paste for export).
The EVs spread helps it mantain alive through matches so it's rain dance is effective and can be used at it maximum potential, obv supposing you r gonna use a rain team. It's best teammates r:
-Swampert mega which in Rian is a bulky fast strong god
-Tornadus t which can use hurricane 110 spa STAB in rain with 100 acc, which with rain isn't the case
-thundurus t the same that Thor t but with thunder instead of hurric
-rain dishers such as ludicolo or Blastoise
-2 or 3 coverage pkmn that r grass/ground/fire/rock/ice.
Scald is for burn, toxic for crippling some pkmn in different ways, 4 xmpl steel types or phy attackers which have there dmg halved, and the best to burn: gliscor, if you burn it, you turn down all the gliscor strat and it is 50% useless, then protect gives you a free toxic turn that makes dmg grow(cuz poi dmg grow in each turn) and lastly Haze takes down pkmn that use stat modifiers such as mimikyu, Hawlucha with tapus(opop) or even pkmn like klanger that all use swords dnsce bad Hawlucha gets na enormous boos with tapus, although sceptile can do smthng like that

Though taking in count my answer and ur comment, Lal I cna say is that, sry to tell ya, but that politoed isn't rly what you should seek in that kinda pkmn
