Should I change my lvl 14 rattata to lvl 6 nidoran(male)?

Question

i am no pro in Pokemon.. thats why I am asking,

I just recently caught a nidoran male and I am thinking of switching it. I saw many people saying that nidorans final evolution is epic blah blah blah.

note: I am playing Pokemon fire red

I think Nidoking is very epic in FRLG, so yes.

I think you should use Nidoking. It's better than Raticate in every stat except speed, and Nidoking can learn good moves like earthquake, surf, and ice beam.
