When breeding, can one parent pass the PokeBall and the other pass the species?

I know most ppl care about breeding abilities and IVs and shinies, but I really want to breed pkm in a certain pokeball. I'm playing Moon and I read a bunch of guides and what I understand is that whichever parent passes the species, aslo passes the pokeball. I have this buneary in a love ball from trading, and I really want to have other Pokemon in a love ball as well. So I'm asking is there really no way to pass the species from one parent and the pokeball from the other?

It is impossible to breed a Pokéball onto a Pokémon if you don’t already have a Pokémon of that evolutionary line in the desired ball.
