If a Pokemon gets a status condition that's a supereffective one, does the damage double, or does it stay the same?

So, I've been wondering for the longest time and was highly curious. is the damage doubled or not?

It stays the same

Here, a certain percentage is lost, and so a Burnee Grass type Pokemon would lose the same percentage of its HP as say, a Burned Water type Pokemon.

Comments

The only exception to this are Pokemon with Heatproof, which lose half the HP they're supposed to lose (i.e. 1/16th total HP in Gen 7)
