Is Fissure, Guillotine and moves like these good for in-game or competitive?

Also, does Wide Lens affect these moves accuracy?

What format/rules are you playing with?
There's difference?
Yes, there is a very big difference. Smogon formats ban OHKO moves outright, for example. Always mention the battle format even if you think it isn't important.
Yeah. If it’s in game/WiFi battles, OHKO moves are fine, but there is a rule in some formats banning them.

Really, OHKO moves aren’t very good. They miss almost all the time, unless you are like 80 levels above your opponent, meaning they are better for knocking out Pokémon on route 1 as opposed to actually getting some work done in a battle. And in competitive.... they just plain suck.

Also, Gen 3 onwards OHKO moves aren’t affected by accuracy, so a Wide Lens won’t work. In game in Gens 1-2 they can be good if you have stocked up on X Accuracy’s, but still, they aren’t very good moves.

Hope this helps! :)

No. They have 30% accuracy, which is terrible. It rarely hits, and your opponent could destroy you very quickly when you are trying to use these moves. Thunder and blizzard are unviable (outside of rain and hail) because of their 70% accuracy. Wide lens doesn’t effect them.
