Did Pokémon GO remove all mentions of locations?

I can’t seem to see the Pokémon’s locations and it’s making it annoying when trading.

weird, just checked and there are no locations. i’ll dig deeper.

This issue has been reported by players stating that an update accidentally removed locations.
However, locations are back -- I assume they came back in the next update, but I can confirm that they are indeed back.
