Basically, I'm asking who's faster. Assuming no speed drops or anything happened, who would be faster. An example is your opponent's scarfed Ditto being sent out against your scarfed Shadow Calyrex. Would Ditto out speed Calyrex, Calyrex out speed Ditto, or would it be a speed tie?

Do all the Pokemon have max speed and +speed natures? If so then it's a speed tie, because their speed will be exactly the same.
It still depends, if they have the same EVs, IVs, and the same stat raising nature, then this is a repeated question. There is a 50:50 chance Ditto would go first.
Ditto doesn't have its stat raising nature into effect after transforming. It all depends the Pokemon from which it transforms.
Oh I didn’t know that. Does its EVs change too?
Yes. It's EVs are also based on the Pokemon it transforms, except HP.

Due to Ditto copying all EVs and IVs, natures, etc. it's a Speed tie, if both are Choice Scarf.

They're correct. It's a speed tie, so a 50:50 chance for Calyrex and Ditto, since Ditto doesn't copy the Speed boost from choice scarf, and since both are Scarfed, it's a tie.
Hope this helps!

Okay, thanks.
No problem.
I’m pretty sure Ditto keeps its EVs after transforming though, so it depends on the speed investment.
No, Ditto doesn't simply copy the opponent's base stats, but also the opponent's EV/IV investments, as well (except for HP).
That's why Smogon sets always include 252 HP and 252 Def (for struggle lol)
Ah okay.
