So, I love Wishiwashi’s design and gimmick. That would mean I would like to put it on my Sword Battle Tower team. However, it is absolutely terrible as it’s Solo form, and while a beast as it’s School form, the weight of the gimmick might be to much. So, I am wondering if it is worth it, and to give Pros and Cons to it, as well as an explanation of why it might be good or bad. It doesn’t matter much, but if you want the format of the Battle Tower, it is Solos.

Edit: Would this be better the Jellicent?

gimmicky and unreliable at most, once it goes to smol fish form its basically useless. Its also slow and cant recover, making it even harder to use
That was what I was afraid of.
I'm pretty sure Barraskewda is better offensively.
True, but I still wanna know if Wishiwashi is good.
Not really. Sure it has a monstrous Attack stat, but it's slow, has a shallow movepool, and is useless once it reverts to Solo Forme.
Yeah, probably not gonna use it.
I would go Barraskewda or Dracovish over Wishiwashi.
Wishiwashi @ Choice Band
Ability: Schooling
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Atk / 4 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Liquidation
- Earthquake
- Flip Turn
- Toxic
you could try this as like a trick room breaker. You might need wishpass support though, as like mentioned, its not good after becoming smol fish

Wishiwashi @ Leftovers
Ability: Schooling
EVs: 252 HP / 252 Def / 4 SpD
Bold Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Whirlpool
- Protect
- Toxic
- Scald
Trapper, protect for stall moves and lefties recovery

Wishiwashi @ Chesto Berry
Ability: Schooling
- Rest
- Liquidation
- Earthquake
- Flip Turn
rest for recovering back to school form.

Wishiwashi @ Assault Vest/ Choice Specs
Ability: Schooling
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Scald
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Flip Turn
AV/specs

Wishiwashi @ Figy Berry
Ability: Schooling
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
- Flip Turn
- Hydro Pump
- Ice Beam
- Earthquake

Pinch berry to keep it out of smol form one time, as after dropping to 1/4, it eats the berry rather than reverting to smol fish.

Basically all the sets that could possibly work that I could think of
but again, its not very good in general, and probably not worth raising one for the battle tower
also it has a different role as jellicent, as jellicent is more bulky, but I think its still worse

Pros:
•Huge Attack, Special Attack, Defense, and Special defense
•Mono Water is pretty good typing
Cons:
•Horrible Speed, and low HP that somewhat hinders it’s defenses
•No reliable recovery
•It goes to useles-I mean solo form at low HP
•it’s ability makes it go to this form, so it can’t make use of any ability
•Shallow movepool, it’s only got Ice Beam for good special coverage and Earthquake for good physical coverage
•Greatly outclassed by the likes of Gyarados, Barraskewda, Dracovish, and many others

Don’t use it over the other far superior water types.

Hope this helps!

Thanks a lot!
Meanwhile, my wishiwashi sets are ignored...…
Also note it does have recovery just not RELIABLE recovery
Oh, I didn’t see those sets XD. Oo, actually, those are pretty good sets! I will try em’ out, and if they are successful, then I will use it!
