I've got a good team so I need a good electric type and I'm looking for a way to get magneton in Pokemon crystal for jasmine (no glitches, hacks or out of game trades available) where should I go to get this
You can find a Magnemite on Routes 6, 11, 38, and 39 in Crystal. Alternatively, you can trade a Dugtrio for Magneton in the Power Plant.
