Gen 9 Monotype All-Out-Attacker (Bug)

Slither Wing @ Life Orb
Ability: Protosynthesis
EVs: 88 HP / 252 Atk / 168 Spe
Adamant Nature
- First Impression
- Close Combat
- Flare Blitz
- Earthquake

An AoA set for Bug teams in Gen 9 Monotype. First Impression is used for a priority Bug STAB that allows Slither Wing to revenge kill Pokemon faster than you. Close Combat is used for a powerful fighting STAB. Flare Blitz provides coverage against Steel-types such as Scizor and Gholdengo. Flare Blitz also OHKOes Corviknight after Stealth Rock chip since most Corviknight at the time this post was written are specially defensive. Earthquake allows you to deal super effective damage to Pokemon such as Skeledirge, Toxapex, Clodsire, and Iron Moth. Life Orb is used to help secure the Flare Blitz OHKO vs Specially Defensive Corviknight. 168 Speed EVs allow Slither Wing outspeed Adamant Breloom. The rest of the EVs are used in HP since Slither Wing doesn't need that much speed. If you do need the speed, 252 Speed EVs are fine on this set. Adamant Nature is used to give Slither Wing as much offensive power as possible.

Gen 9 UU (Booster Energy Slither Wing)
Slither Wing @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fire / Bug
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- First Impression
- Close Combat
- Leech Life / Flare Blitz (If you select Tera Fire)
- Flame Charge / Flare Blitz (If you select Tera Fire) / U-Turn

This little (or may I say big) moth is quite the hard hitter! First Impression can do a large chunk of damage straight off the bat to a Pokemon that even resists it with the Protosynthesis boost, sometimes even killing frail Pokemon in a single hit who do not resist it.
Without a correct counter, such as Talonflame or Intimidate 'Mence, many teams can struggle against Slither Wing.
Booster Energy is technically a one use Choice Band that makes Slither Wing more versatile, to allow for First Impression to do the work.
Bug Tera is to make First Impression hit even harder, or you could select Fire Tera to obtain stab on Flare Blitz, which checks Pokemon like Kilowattrel, Lokix, Lucario, all Pokemon that people would pit against Slither Wing on the switch in. Close combat is self explanatory, hard hitting fighting stab. U Turn here, is sometimes actually used to make Slither Wing a pivot, forcing switches from Pokemon like Brute Bonnet, and allowing slither wing to be a good offensive pivot.
But now, you may be asking why I chose flame charge, a random move from the useless moves section.
Well, first up, flame charge grants slither wing the actual speed it desperately needs, and allows Slither Wing to be some sort of a cleaner late game. Flame Charge also grants fire coverage, albeit weak, it is still useful against the Pokemon we have discussed as checks.
Leech Life is not seen much on current Slither Wing sets, but it gives slither wing a sort of recovery.

Gen 9 UU (Choice Band Slither Wing)
Slither Wing @ Choice Band
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fighting / Fire
EVs: 252 Atk / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Leech Life
- Close Combat
- Wild Charge / Flare Blitz (Again, only if you use Tera Fire)
- U-turn

I love writing these band sets.
Since we aren't that versatile anymore with the Choice Band, we might as well not use First Impression anymore.
Leech Life, CC, Flare Blitz, and U Turn are all talked about.
Wild Charge here is just to punish the flying types if they switch in.
The tera typings are self explanatory
That's pretty much it now

Slither Wing, the best Paradox Mon by far

Gen 9 Set-Up Sweeper

Slither Wing @Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Fire/Bug/Fighting
EV: 252 Attack 252 HP 4SpDef
Adamant Nature
-Bulk Up
-Morning Sun
-Lunge/Close Combat
-Flame Charge/Flare Blitz

With its naturally high SpDef + Bulk Up and Morning Sun make it very bulky. Flame Charge for the speed boost but if you choose Fire as the Tera Type, Flare Blitz would be more useful. Lunge is for more defence, Close Combat for more power
This set works well with Koraidon in Doubles and Cyclizar/ Orthworm with Shed Tail in Singles

Gen 9 OU strong tanky set (for both doubles and singles)
Item: Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Electric (chose it because it handles Slither Wings Flying weakness)
EVs: 252 Atk, 192 SpD, 66 HP
Nature: Careful (lowers SpA, boosts SpD)
- Lunge/First Impression
- Brick Break/Close Combat
- Wild Charge/Tera Blast (choose Wild Charge if you care about the power, choose Tera Blast if you care about it not doing recoil)
- Earthquake/Bulk Up

Lunge/First Impression and Brick Break/Close Combat are STAB. Wild Charge/Tera Blast are for Slither Wings Electric Tera Type. Bulk Up is a great boosting move, while Earthquake is for coverage.

SWeeper

Slither Wing @ Booster Energy
Ability: Protosynthesis
Tera Type: Bug
EVs: 252 HP / 112 Atk / 144 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Close Combat
- First Impression
- Flare Blitz
- Acrobatics

I’ve Seen many other diverse moves like Earthquake, you - Turn, Leech life and more, But EVERY set iv’e seen , not just on DB, Uses close combat. It’s just good. First impression is also STAB, popular, and it’s a good move. Flare blitz is coverage, and acrobatics will trigger after absorbing the booster energy :)
