So if I transfer a ditto from UK English sword to US English violet via home and then breed it with a hisuian zoroark brought over from LA (Legends Arceus), will I have the Masuda method's increased shiny chance? And if so, assuming I lack the shiny charm, and have no meal powers active, what would be the chance with the Masuda method versus the normal chance?

Despite the assumption that Masuda Method odds are increased by region of origin of a Pokemon, that is actually completely false. Masuda Method odds are increased by the language of the game you play, which is only changeable at the very beginning of the game.

So you can have two copies from the same region, (or one if you have HOME,) and as long as you picked two different languages at the start of the game, Pokemon traded between those games will be able to breed with the Masuda Method.

Masuda Method odds with Shiny Charm are 1/512 and odds without Shiny Charm are 1/683

Hope I could help, please ask if you have more questions!

What I meant was a. If they're from 2 different generations will it work and b. Do ones from US English work with UK English
The only factor that matters is the Pokemon's language. Pokemon does not separate US English and UK English (which both come under the "ENG" tag), so no, Masuda method will not work in your scenario.
Darn:(
