Why Is Fletchinder RU in Generation 6?

Question

It has a bad defensive typing, Weak to stealth rocks and It's also super frail with 62/55/52 Defenses which are bad, I know that It has a Great ability Gale Wings, But I don't see It being able to Setup a Swords dance before Dying..

Gale Wings STAB Acrobatics was surprisingly powerful back then, paired with Rapid Spin/Defogger support and Swords Dance in Gen 6. It's also helped by being a check to some of the major leaders of RU, such as Venusaur, Virizion, Escavalier, and more.

It's only B Rank too, so it's not exactly meta-defining.

Fletchinder has an excellent ability in Gale Wings, giving +1 priority to Acrobatics and Roost and making it a great late-game cleaner. Though Fletchinder has a mediocre Attack stat, its access to Swords Dance mitigates this issue. Despite having a decent defensive typing, Fletchinder's frailty prevents it from taking too many hits, although it is able to set up on various Pokemon that can't OHKO it, such as Escavalier and Hitmontop.
