Flamigo wins easy

While yes staraptor is both stronger and faster, speed isnt that useful in a playthrough unless your levels are close to your opponents, and also their attack stats are only 5 apart.

Flamigo also has the worse ability compared to staraptor.

But thats where staraptor stops being better. Flamigo can be found at levels under 10 while staraptor evoles at level 34.

Flamigo also has the better typing which allows it to quad resist Katies bug gym, do stab s(uper)e(ffective) damage to klawf, do se damage on brassius's grass types, beat the ice gym (i forgot his name), and deal se damage to poppy (i might be missing some important fights)

So in conclusion, Flamigo.
