This type works in a unique way. The Stellar type only appeares when Terastallized.
When a Pokémon is Terastallized into its Tera form, they keep their base typing’s defensive properties, or the properties of the Pokemon's tera type.(ex. Fighting will still be weak to flying once Terastallized to fighting) but the Stellar type does not add any weaknesses or immunities, but Tera moved WILL be super effective against Tera Pokemon.

Your source is poorly written. The Stellar type is no more a "state of being" than any other type. It only appears when Terastallized, but it's still a very real type. The last two sentences contradict each other -- how can a Pokemon have no weaknesses if it's keeping its original typing?
Sorry! I Will rewrite thoroughly.
