In Pokémon ultra sun when I breed a tyrantrum and a ditto, does the ditto need to be male?

I'm trying to get a tyrunt for Pokémon ultra moon.

Um, my brain is not braining. Ditto is genderless, so how can Ditto be male?

Ditto cannot have gender so you should be fine.

Ditto can breed with any Pokemon that isn't in the undiscovered egg group or another ditto. since tyrantrum is not in the undiscovered egg group nor a ditto you will be able to get your tyrunt egg.
