PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

For clarification, I know this could be seen as subjective, but I just want one place to show Pokemon that Unite players might want to buy next. Some factors for 'best Pokemon' are:

  • ease of use (can you pick up how to use it and its moveset within 1 or 2 battles)
  • power (how good it is at scoring, supporting, stopping goals or taking KOs, depending on its role)
  • moveset (idk how to phrase this one, but how many different things it wants to do can its moves do, e.g. Alcremie, a Supporter being both teamwide healing with Recover and disruptive with Dazzling Gleam)

Feel free to say multiple Pokemon too.
P.S. Please don't have subjective answers if possible i.e. give some examples of how they do well

Ceruledge, for the sole reason that I’m biased towards it; I know absolutely nothing about Unite.
i mean, I specifically asked not for subjective answers, but I love revenanant rend so much, i'll let it pass
its literally an anime attack in a video game
as an ex- somewhat serious unite player, I'll give these few tips (based on what I knew about the meta back then, which is like a few months back, but barring any major changes they should still apply):
usually defenders are the easiest to pick up on, simple bc most of them just do absurd amounts of damage for how tanky they are. that's why i used to main trevenant, but stuff like slowbro also do high amounts of dmg in conjunction with their util to help its team stack more dmg. if you don't have an objective main, try some defenders
other than defenders, dragapult feels dummy easy to use as an attacker; it can hit through walls, phantom force is actualy broken, and it can midlane effectively as well. the specific timing and skill to play with phantom force does take some time to develop, but at least you dont have to worry about walls and have a fairy free cop-out if you get into bad situations (that being said iirc pult got nerfed when I left so idk about it anymore)
Psyduck is a decent support.
Honestly, the meta is always changing. I mean, at one point Lucario was a literally unstoppable and arguably the best. But then it was nerfed and live in the shadow of its former glory. But that mainly applies to your "power" criteria, I guess. Like banana said, defenders are very easy to pick up and are often great all round thanks to their tankiness. As for movesets, pokemon like umbreon are also great, since it can have different playstyles depending on the moves you choose. Ultimately, it's up to the player. You could probably say that some pokemon can do what another pokemon can but better, but if you enjoy what you play, you could just master it and become unstoppable with that I guess.
1. A defender or supporter
2. Absol
3. It says which pokemon is easy to play when you check out the tab (I don’t know where)
https://unite-db.com/
If you click on a pokemon, under it's name it'll have tags like novice and expert. In the game, these tags should also be in the pokemon menu underneath their names. That's usually a good guide to difficulty
i recomend falinks and I realy like beat up mega horn
