What happens if you use one of the NPC’s uniform numbers in Sword/Shield?

Question

Pretty clear question, what happens if you choose one of the other NPC’s trainer uniform numbers as your own? Marnie is 960, Bea is 193, Hop is 189 etc on and on. Does it change anything in-game if you choose the same number as one of them?

UPDATE: for anyone curious of this, I noticed an NPC in Motostoke make the comment that - “I would pick my favorite gym leader’s number, but I would be too nervous!”
I don’t know if that changes anything, but I found it curious that we started this discussion then I found a reference in game about it.

If you view an image in your Switch's gallery, there should be a "Transfer to Smartphone" option that lets you scan QR codes to connect to a mobile device. This is probably the easiest way to get the original picture off the Switch

A lot of players end up matching with Leon since "1" is an easy number to think of. As far as I know, it doesn't affect their gameplay.
