Does any thing determine Pokemon friendships between each other in SwSh?

Question

In the Pokemon camp you when you talk to two Pokemon it can tell you how they feel about each other. I’ve noticed on multiple play though that my Raichu and Cinderace always like each other. Is this just random or is there anything that determines this in game?

it could be because they’re both in the field egg group, but it might also just be random.

That could be true, but also my chansey gets along with every Pokemon in my party and if it isn’t random then it’s a nice detail

One of the comments on them says that the Pokemon grew close to each other after playing with them and that’s why I find it hard to believe that it’s random. I don’t think it’s likely that they happed to get along more or something.
