I mean at the same time so if you hypothetically had a full party of Kubfus could you use them all at once

If not, could you use any kubfu or only the one you got from Mustard?

I haven't played the DLC in a while, but if I had to guess, I think it's based on the OT. I think if you had a bunch of kubfu and only one had your OT, that would be the only one allowed in the tower. However, Bulbapedia says the player is allowed in the tower if kubfu is the only Pokemon in the party, but if kubfu isn't in your party or boxes, you will be let in and use any Pokemon, so you can probably rock a full kubfu party that way. I'm not sure how the game interacts with kubfu once you go in with anything and then bring kubfu back to your game though.

I may be remembering some details wrong but I do remember having a kubfu from another file that couldn't participate in the current file's sightseeing activities after the current file's kubfu evolved, which leads me to believe kubfu being let into the towers is OT based.

I finally just decided to test this myself. For this experiment, we have 3 test subjects.

1: A Kubfu from PoGo (does not have my ot)
2 The Kubfu mustard gives you
3: For science, I have a genned Kubfu from a surprise trade. These can sometimes pick up your trainer OT from being hacked in and this one does have my trainer info.

Before I got to the towers, I already had the genned Kubfu and when I was supposed to show master mustard how great friends the Kubfu and I were, the genned Kubfu came up as a option to select to show him. I selected the genned and he was not in the front of my party, so Mustard said that I had to get closer to it.

I arrived at the tower of water with both Kubfus, and took them out via Home and put in the PoGo Kubfu, and they let me in with the PoGo Kubfu. I reset back to before I entered the tower and put the other two back in so I can try to put all three in the tower. This did not work.

Next, I tried to activate the “bad ending” where Kubfu is neither in your box nor party. I did this by putting all three into home. They let me into the tower without Kubfu, I saved, put the Kubfus back in. However, it did not let me open my boxes and did not let me leave the dojo. Since when you get to the tower is the last point where you can get the “bad ending” and it does not let me leave the tower without finishing it, unfortunately you cannot slaughter the tower with multiple Kubfus. (Unless you edit party info)

TLDR: No, but surprisingly the Kubfu that is let in is not based on OT or trainer name.

Huh. How interesting that it isn't OT based.
If I had to guess why, I think it’s so little kids who release it on accident can get traded a new one. Since the dojo employees in the bad ending basically give you the silent treatment, I can see how that would make a young child think the game doesn’t like them or something like that.
That makes sense, surprisingly.

No. When you pick a tower, an NPC stands in front of the other tower forever. And the other door is locked. How do you even get multiple Kubfus?!

the question is asking whether you can bring multiple kubfu to one tower, not if you can bring multiple kubfu to multiple towers.
You can get kubfu’s from PoGO, a different save file, trading… That’s why I asked the question
