As part of the Pokémon’s design. If they possessed it, that also counts, like Sinsitea for example. I’m not sure if the title is good so feel free to edit it.

I don't plan to answer this, but I think it's worth asking as what counts as inhabiting an object? Phantump's pokedex entries state that they're created when spirts possessed tree stumps - I think that this is different than simply being tree stumps that are possessed, implying that the spirit cannot separate itself from the tree stump now that it's a Phantump. Does this still mean that it's inhabiting a tree stump? Just something to consider.
I mean it still says the tree stumps are being possessed so that counts
You are one of those yourself applinpie
And you mean a Pokémon that would inhabit an (otherwise) inanimate object, right? Because you also have shelled Pokémon that I wouldn’t (personally) count. I.e. Squirtle and evolution line, Magcargo, Togepi etc. Just making sure I completely understand.
Yes I wouldn’t count shelled Pokemon

Just scrolled the whole dex and this is what I got. I based them off dex entries that stated they were objects that a Pokémon inhabited OR became an Pokémon after they inhabited it. Let off some evolutions (such as Barbarnacle, for example) if the dex didn’t expressly make comments about said habitations. May have missed some, but they can be added!
