I wanted to play a match on Showdown with the Level 5 Rattata (Focus Sash, Endeavor, Quick Attack) trick, just to see how it would work, but the most recent generation featuring them is Gen 7. So, I thought I might be able to do that with Mew instead since it learns "every move." The format I'm trying to do is Gen 9 Anything Goes, and I didn't see Quick Attack, or Sucker Punch like some places have said, for Mew's moves. So, like the title says, what Priority moves does Mew learn? Specifically ones that would work for out speeding/prioritizing opponents, but really any damaging Priority move would be helpful.

Mew can learn two damaging moves with positive priority in Generation IX:

  • Grassy Glide
  • Vacuum Wave

Both moves have +1 priority, but Grassy Glide only does so under Grassy Terrain. Vacuum Wave will therefore be the more consistent option. Note that FEAR is a gimmicky strategy and you are unlikely to see much success with it in competitive.
