What would happen if a shiny got replaced by a day-time spawn?

Say I found a shiny staryu in wild zone 2. At day the staryu slot would be replaced by a magikarp. Would the magikarp be shiny? If not and it turned night again would the old shiny staryu still be there? I don’t want to risk losing a shiny mega starmie, I mean it’s just such a funny mega but I also want to keep hearing that beautiful shiny noise every time I go to the wild zone

In Pokemon Legends: Z-A, every-time you find a shiny, it will never despawn with another Pokémon until you catch it until you got 10 shinies that you didn’t catch, in that case the first shiny you catch will despawn. This is a new mechanic introduced in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. If you close the game, change the time or leave the area, it will not despawn unless you didn’t save.
