Can I lower my ally's speed in double battles?

Question

I want to lower my ally's speed stat during a double battle, it can't be a self induced stat reduction like holding the iron ball or anything. It has to be a stat reduction done by my other Pokemon, is it possible and if yes how?

I mean, speed lowering moves can obviously lower it. If it's turn order you wanna push back, quash also works. But yeah, almost all single target speed reducing moves can lower your ally's speed

Bulldoze could be a good option to lower your partner's speed while also tagging some damage on the opponent, though if you're doing this for a trick room setup, that might be less viable.

@ KRLW890 yes, i am trying to run this on a defiant gyro ball tera steel passimian with possibly iron ball under trick room, why is it bad for a trick room setup?

I mean that Bulldoze specifically would be bad for a Trick Room setup, because it lowers the speed of both your ally and your opponents. Using a single-target move like Scary Face would be better so that only your Pokémon gets slower.

Scary face is the only single target move that lower the target's speed by 2 stages. Other ways to lower an ally's speed include drum beating, low sweep, mud shot, pounce, rock tomb, silk trap, toxic thread, venom drench, cotton down, gooey, tangling hair, or using trick or switcheroo to give an ally a macho brace.
