I finished my Type: Null hunt in Ultra Moon and saw its stats. I used Showdown to determine the IVs looking at them alone.

HP: 0-1
Attack: 31
Defense: 31
Special Attack: 31
Special Defense: 0-1
Speed: 16

I used a Careful sync Natu if that matters any. Are my Type: Null's IVs this way because of the sync, is this Type: Null in particular trash, or are all Type: Null genetically engineered to canonically have trash IVs?

From what I see online, it has 3 guaranteed 31 I’ve and the rest are random, but no hard sources on this.
Can use pksm to reset the flag and do a mini-trial on this. Remind me on my wall to check this weekend if you don’t get an answer
Yeah the 3 IVs I figured, but I was wondering if it was 3 perfect, then 2 trash and 1 mediocre.
Bulbapedia's IVs page agrees with Silver. I don't know if this counts as a "hard source".
As far a I know, it has 3 guaranteed 31 IVs and the rest are all random. You just got unlucky in this case and got bad IVs.

I was going to reset the flag for this event, but I decided to look at the Type: Null I already had from this event instead. I used PKSM editor to look at his IVs.

Mine has:
Nature: Jolly
HP: 28
Attack: 31
Defense: 31
Sp.Atk: 31
Sp. Def: 31
Speed: 28

.. so it seems they aren't set, and aren't guaranteed to be bad.
So, the common conception of 3 perfect IVS and the rest random seems to be accurate.

Gladion must have took the better Type: Null for himself I feel done dirty.
you were 100% done dirty. i'm so sorry for your ivs
This is why soft resetting was invented.
I should've reset for a second shiny, you're right!
