PokéBase - Pokémon Q&A

I don't think so when Chansey exists. I'm not sure though, but I think it would be pretty bad.
Type: Null has weaker stats.
This doesn’t answer the question. The question asked if Type:Null is good and has nothing to do with silvally. Silvally is unviable, by the way.
Type Null isn't even viable in PU, so what makes you think it will be viable there?
What at all makes you think there’s a chance that Type:Null is viable? It’s got no movepool or stats backing it, it’s bulk is good with an Eviolite I guess but a weakness to Close Combat and no recovery doesn’t do it any favors.
Even with max HP and Def investment it still gets 2HKOd by Zacian-Crowned, the most used Pokémon in the tier (at 1630 elo)

> +1 252+ Atk Zacian-Crowned Close Combat vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Type: Null: 262-310 (66.4 - 78.6%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Rayquaza can just set up with Dragon Dance on it:

> +1 252+ Atk Life Orb Rayquaza-Mega Dragon Ascent vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Eviolite Type: Null: 266-316 (67.5 - 80.2%) -- guaranteed 2HKO

Yveltal is usually a 4HKO:

> 252 SpA Life Orb Dark Aura Yveltal Dark Pulse vs. 252 HP / 252+ SpD Eviolite Type: Null: 113-134 (28.6 - 34%) -- 1.2% chance to 3HKO

But it can just use Taunt to stop Type: Null from Resting.

Toxic stalling, and U-turn.

A rest talk set + toxic and u-turn

Type: Null @ Eviolite
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 252 HP / 4 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature

Please, however, NEVER use this.

"It doesn't get toxic"
It actually does get Toxic. That doesn't change the fact that Type: Null is not viable though.
Wait it does, shoot. Let me edit that, also, I need to add some more stuff to make my answer better, because it kinda sucks rn.
I just thought that Ev. Type: Null is a good tank LOL

This is what my moveset look like:
Type: Null @ Eviolite
Ability: Battle Armor
EVs: 4 Atk / 252 Def / 252 SpD
Careful Nature
- Swords Dance
- Shadow Claw
- Rest
- X-Scissor
What offensive Pokémon are you gonna wall though? (cricket noises)

Chansey: Exists: Type Null: Oh crud
It doesn't get much support moves, no reliable recovery, and is outclassed by Chansey in every way in Nat Dex AG. Chansey gets great support moves in Stealth Rock, Heal Bell, Teleport, Softboiled, Toxic, Confide, Thunder Wave, and more I probably am not thinking about. Type Null, gets U-Turn, a move that a lot of things have, Toxic, a move literally everything has, Rest, a pretty crud move that is only used on it because of it getting no recovery, Sleep Talk so it won't be useless when asleep, Thunder Wave, which a lot of things have well, Magic Coat, a move that is gimmicky, Roar, a move that can have better Pokemon using it, and yeah, that's it. I can't think of any other support moves that are good on it. Type Nullsucks in a tier called PU. PU Pokemon are all bad, and it sucks in a tier named PU. Wait, I forgot to mention that Type Null is pretty bad in ZU, only at C rank. ZU stands for ZeroUsed, it is pretty bad in a tier named ZeroUsed, like, just please don't use it.

I added Confide because it's what Chansey uses to check most set up special sweepers like Calm Mind Arceus formes and Geomancy Xerneas
I forgot about that. Thanks ignis!
