About B/W Battle Subway items.

i have never bought any of the battle subway items such as the red card
do items like that can they be used only once like the air balloon
or can they be used more than once like the focus sash
and are they worth buying

They ones you said in the questions are one use.
They have uses, in battling your friends, Battle Subway, and on wifi. You will get them back if you use them in competitive battling. (Not ingame)
And yes, they are worth buying.
Focus Sash: FEAR sets
Air Balloon: Gets rid of Ground weaknesses. (Magnezone)
Red Card: Entry hazard phazing
