The gigantic cards are just a fun extra thing to make you want to buy the box. It doesn't mean anything, or is any more special then it may appear. You can't however use them in gameplay.
They're are many giant cards, but they are however fairly new. They are usually sold in a box with a Theme Deck, a couple packs, and a smaller version of the Gigantic card.
