I'm assuming you are talking about HG/SS here. Since Entei is a roaming pokemon, you could try throwing a Quick Ball right away. Or use the Dusk Ball at night like speed freak suggested.
The master ball but if you already used that or are saveing it for
another pokemon the dusk ball at night.
