How long does Pokerus last?

I get on my games every day and my Crobat has had pokerus for a year. I never put it in my P.C.(Because it is my strongest Pokemon) Is that normal?

Pokerus can last forever if you have it inside the PC. However, as OS said, three days is the amount of time for outside the PC. So if you get Pokerus, play the game for most of the time during those three days, because it isn't 72 hours, it's just three real days have passed.

I think it should go away in three days. Maybe I don't know everything about pokerus, but I don't think that is normal.
