And make sure to actually look things up before you answer.

And I need a for sure answer, not people guessing. That includes people of other sites guessing.

If you are not sure what the question is talking about or if you are not 100% sure your answer is correct, DO NOT ANSWER

Do not answer saying the chance is 1% if your only reference is IGN or Bulbapedia (which got that number from IGN).

@Draco: Despite the fact that that is bulbapedia, that is not a legitamate source. Anything that says "I believe" can be incorrect, and as such will not be acceptable as an answer.
@starmarx39: I agree. I found N's Joltik, Ferroseed, and Klink, at an average time of ten to fifteen minutes between each encounter, but then it took me about half an hour and maybe even LONGER to find N's Boldore, so... either I have really bad luck, or that your theory might be correct.
:/
If you have a strong guess or theory, comment it, but don't answer. If its wrong, don't post anything.
I decided to take upon myself to answer the oldest unanswered question on this database! Or comment on it. This is from Bulbapedia, on a page last edited July 15 2021, saying with all confidence, "N's Pokémon have a 1% encounter chance whenever it is possible to encounter one."(I feel like I'm going to be proven stupid.) I'm just taking into account that the last comment on this page was 2013 and the last time this Bulbapedia article was edited was 2021. So I feel this adds to the coverstation(Hopefully.) and that this question has been answered, just no one has mentioned it. I'm not totally for sure so that's why I'm commenting over answering.

Is it safe to say that the answer is 1%? That seems to be the consensus on the internet

The chance of finding one of N's Pokemon is 1/100. ( 1% )

As seen in the thread, OP was looking for a source unrelated to the aforementioned. Do you have a source?
