This is a typo, because whirlpools are found only in Generation II (G/S/C) and Generation IV (HG/SS) , not Generation V, since there are no whirlpools in the whole of Unova...

yes, Gen IV is D/P/P as well as HG/SS. So yes it is Sinnoh but it is also Johto and Kanto.
